Something inside of us resonates with the question, “How can I let go of yesteryear and be happy?” It is really a feeling or an awareness that knows that there's something more than this world is showing us. There is something within us that is ready to burst and to shine.
Once we've had a glimmer of joy, there's an expression in us of Wow, I like this glimpse. Why can't this continually be what life is? Why can't life continually be fun? And the solution of the Spirit is, “It's, it may!” That's the reality, but we do need to let go of past associations and let go of the familiar to be able to open our hearts as much as something much higher than anything we've ever experienced on Earth.
How will you reach a state of mind where you feel sure that yesteryear has ended; where you feel that there's nothing left from yesteryear that may haunt you or that may bring doubt to your mind anymore? It's through guidance and trust.
The Holy Spirit can use time and the symbols in time and energy to educate you on that there's no time. They can utilize the symbols of the past—like words and anything in form—to inspire and to bless, and to supply you with the experience that you're free right now.
Whenever you really let go of yesteryear through guidance, you are not concerned anymore with the outcomes of the world. As soon as you let everything be reinterpreted by the Spirit, then you can certainly recall your darkest hours or memory with a soft smile in your mind. a course in miracles You are able to think, Wow, it seems so different now with this particular higher interpretation. God, you're with me all the time. You were there in most circumstance and every seeming situation beckoning me, “Show up here with me and visualize it with me, come see my perspective on the world. Come begin to see the gentleness, the laughter and the joy.”
This experience doesn't connect with major things only—it's every day! We could let go of yesteryear and the familiar, learn to listen to present moment guidance and be happy today!
